Dental Specialist 3D Designer

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Dental Specialist 3D Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be proficient in CAD/CAM software and 3D printing technologies to design and fabricate high-quality dental restorations, including crowns, bridges, and implants. This role involves close collaboration with dentists, dental technicians, and other professionals to ensure precision, functionality, and aesthetics in all custom dental designs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Utilize CAD/CAM software (e.g., Exocad, 3Shape, DentalCAD) to design custom dental restorations.
• Operate and maintain 3D printers and other digital fabrication tools to produce accurate dental models.
• Collaborate with dentists and dental technicians to ensure proper fit, occlusion, and aesthetics of restorations.
• Analyze digital impressions and intraoral scans to create precise dental solutions.
• Stay up to date with advancements in digital dentistry, materials, and fabrication techniques.
• Troubleshoot design and manufacturing issues to optimize workflows and improve efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with dental industry regulations and quality standards.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Experience in CAD/CAM dental design (minimum 2 years preferred).
• Proficiency in Exocad, 3Shape, or similar dental design software.
• Hands-on experience with 3D printing and milling machines used in dental applications.
• Strong understanding of dental anatomy, occlusion, and restoration principles.
• Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Strong communication skills to liaise with dental professionals.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Degree or certification in Dental Technology, Digital Dentistry, or a related field.
• Experience with materials used in digital dentistry (resins, ceramics, metals).
• Knowledge of biomechanics and patient-specific dental restoration design.
